About the Creator
My hair journey started at 15.
I was obsessed with hair growth — I had thick, beautiful Indian black hair. But one day I decided to chase the light brown look which looked amazing on my skin tone. I used a harsh chemical dye for lightening strands; that single choice changed everything. My hair’s chemistry was thrown off balance. I started experiencing major fallout, thinner strands, and my once full ponytail shrank to nearly a third of its original thickness.
I turned to the internet, searching for growth serums and solutions. Most products either didn’t work or were packed with harsh chemicals that made things worse once I stopped using them. That’s when I decided to return to my roots — literally and culturally. As an Indian woman, I knew the power of natural, time-tested remedies. I started from scratch, going back to the basics with natural oils.
Over the years, I crafted my own "hair cocktail," combining oils and sticking to a routine — and trust me, I know how tough that can be to maintain! I learned through trial and error. Over-oiling did nothing. Under-oiling slowed progress. Eventually, I found a balance and a process that worked. It wasn’t just about applying oil — it was about how and when I applied it.
I introduced derma rolling to gently open the scalp, allowing the oil to penetrate more effectively. I discovered that leaving the oil on for 6 to 8 hours was optimal. Leaving it overnight? That actually weakened my strands and led to more shedding.
Now, over 20 years later, I’ve perfected my blend, my technique, and my routine — and I still stick to it.
What started as a personal journey has now become a passion I’m proud to share. I’m excited to pass on the products and process that transformed my hair — and I hope they do the same for you. Cheers to hydrated, happy, healthy scalps!
